Staff News from LFS Student Services – Congratulations and farewell, Sherman Kwai

We are sharing news that Sherman Kwai, Academic Advisor, will be closing out his time in LFS Student Services – his last day with us will be Friday, May 6.  Sherman started with us in January to cover Bonita’s mat leave, and as an LFS alumni, he was able to draw on his personal connections to create a welcoming space for students, and has been has been helpful in supporting our students through the term, while also contributing to the improvement of some operational efficiencies behind the scenes.  Sherman will be returning to the Faculty of Science in a new role, Academic Advisor, and we wish him the best of luck as he continues his professional development.

We appreciate your patience as the team operates with reduced staffing levels in the coming months.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Christine Klaray, Director, Student Services: christine.klaray@ubc.ca.
