Summer Final Grade Submission Deadline Reminder

Reminder to all instructors to be mindful of grade submission deadlines for Summer Session courses; as per the FSC User Guide, page 16, grades are due 7 business days after the exam date, unless the exam occurs within last 2 days of the exam period – then, the grades are due within 5 calendar days. Adherence to these deadlines is critical for students to meet pre-requisites for Winter Session courses, award adjudications, etc. Also, if you are supervising students with any outstanding single-term or full-summer Directed Studies, Undergrad Thesis, practicum, etc. please be sure to have those grades submitted to lfs.advising@ubc.ca by August 31, 2022.

‘Change of Grade’ forms for when grades need to be changed can be generated via the FSC and sent as an attachment to lfs.advising@ubc.ca.

If you are emailing Student Services directly with a request to update or post a grade, please include all of the following details:

  1. Student name
  2. Student number
  3. Course name & number
  4. Session when the course was completed
  5. Previous grade (if applicable)
  6. New grade

Thank you for your cooperation. Please do not hesitate to contact Student Services (lfs.advising@ubc.ca) with any questions.
