Erroneous Workday Notification

On Friday, many employees received a task in their Workday Inbox requesting a review of their benefits. The requested task was: “Verify Life Insurance Beneficiary.” This task was initiated in error.
 
This task has now been removed from inboxes. If you changed your beneficiary on December 11 as a response to the requested task, please reverse this change in Workday.

Lunch & Learn Office Hours – Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS)

This session will be held on Friday, December 18 at noon.
 
The Collaborative Learning Annotation System (CLAS) is a web-based video annotation platform that allows users to upload videos, add bookmarks, embed notes and video replies directly onto the timeline of videos, as well as share the videos with non-UBC users. This tool is used in Arts, Science and Eductation. Come learn how to set up CLAS for your Canvas course and see how Jennifer Klenz (Science) and Duffy Roberts (Arts) use it to enhance their online teaching.

BC Cranberry Marketing Commission Request for Proposals

The BC Cranberry Commission Research Committee is pleased to invite proposals for cranberry research in 2021. Please see the list of priorities and the application procedure.

Proposals are due by February 8, 2021. However, if you would like some preliminary feedback on your project concept or proposal, please submit a draft by January 17, 2021. If you have any questions, email info@bccranberries.com or phone 604-492-2726.
