 Deadlines

PAST DUE – Term 1 Final Grades

Unless you ran a re-scheduled exam this week, if you taught a course that concluded in term one, as per the FSC User Guide, page 15, grades are due to be posted 7 business days after the exam date, unless the exam occurred within last 2 days of the exam period – then, the grades are due within 5 business days.  If you have not yet posted grades for your course(s) please make every effort to do so, as they are now past due.

Meeting these deadlines is critical for ensuring students can make appropriate course plans for term two and for our annual assessment of students at academic risk.  ‘Change of Grade’ forms for when grades need to be changed can be generated via the FSC, signed, and then emailed to LFS Student Services for processing.  If emailing Student Services with a request to update or post a grade directly, please include the following details:

  1. Student name
  2. Student number
  3. Course name & number
  4. Session when the course was completed
  5. Previous grade (if applicable)
  6. New grade

Please do not hesitate to contact Student Services (lfs.advising@ubc.ca) with any questions.
