Their process included making full use of their digital infrastructure, prioritizing community, including guaranteeing any LFS student who applied a spot in the program, and growing their pool of mentors.

Creating Interactive Content

This session will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at noon.

Interactive content can be very engaging for students and can allow for better understanding of content. In this session we will discuss the benefits of interactive content and outline considerations for selecting appropriate tools. There will also be a showcase of H5P, an interactive content authoring tool, including the implementation of H5P by the Faculty of Education.

At the end of this session you should be confident to start creating your own interactive content!

National Indigenous Peoples Day 2021 Celebration

The Carnegie Community Centre, in partnership with the UBC Learning Exchange and the City of Vancouver, is hosting a virtual event on June 21 from 12 to 2 p.m. There will be a variety of live and recorded performances to learn about and connect with Indigenous cultures and the Downtown Eastside. While virtual, the event will live stream from the Carnegie Centre, which is on the ancestral, traditional and unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations.
