Random Acts of Recognition

Congratulations to Random Acts of Recognition recipients:

Thilini Leitan, Student Engagement Officer and Annie Lin, ROOTSS Program Coordinator (with Student Services) for their care, attention to detail, and effort to help finalize the renewal proposal for year 2 of our TLEF funding for ROOTSS (Reach Out, Orientation, and Study Skills).  We were even told that “the proposal is quite compelling and shows that you and your team have accomplished an impressive amount of work with substantial impact on the experience of new students to L&FS.”  It is exciting to see this program take shape, and plan for the future.

To nominate a faculty member, staff or graduate student that’s been doing an outstanding job or has gone above and beyond in some way, send an email to lfs.recognition@ubc.ca and tell us why this person should be recognized. We’ll send them a $6 Starbucks gift card and acknowledge their good work in LFS Today.
