Book Launch: Deep Health

The book Deep Health: Using Artificial Intelligence to Live Longer and Healthier has just launched. Rickey Yada contributed to the book, sharing opportunities to use 3D printing to develop fully personalized foods.

Deep Health talks about how artificial intelligence is providing new insights for individuals who want to take control of their health and increase their longevity and health span. New sources of data, new apps, DNA tests, and smart technology all provide the fuel for artificial intelligence to customize diets, exercise regimes, medications, outlook, and more.

Call for Proposals: 3M National Student Fellowship Award

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2021 3M National Student Fellowship Award.

The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten full-time diploma and undergraduate students at Canadian post-secondary institutions who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives and at their post-secondary institution. These students embrace a vision of education that enhances their academic experience and beyond.

This award is the first in Canada to build community among visionary student leaders who demonstrate outstanding leadership and innovation through seeing current needs in higher education or society and implementing change. We believe it is their voices that will shape tomorrow’s future in post-secondary education.
