Tech Tip Tuesday – Mid-Course Feedback Templates

LFS has made it mandatory for all courses to collect mid-course feedback. To help you with this, LFS Learning Centre has put together a mid-course feedback template that you can modify and use for your course. The template is available on Canvas and Qualtrics.

To add the Mid-Course Feedback Template on Canvas, you need to import the survey quiz from Canvas Commons using this link: https://lor.instructure.com/resources/1fbfd01c3e964458a2aa67e2e0c19a07

LFS LC can provide you with the Qualtrics template for the mid-course feedback on request.

Indigenous Strategic Initiatives (ISI) Fund

The Indigenous Strategic Initiatives (ISI) Fund supports implementation of the 2020 Indigenous Strategic Plan. Funds are available to support projects that advance UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan priority actions across both the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.

Key Dates:

• Letter of Intent (LOI) deadline for Streams 1 and 2: Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
• Application deadline for Stream 3 (Student-led projects): Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
• Application deadline for Streams 1 and 2: Summer 2022

Explore New Research Methodologies in the Pandemic Context

Funding to explore time-sensitive, high-risk/high-reward research with new methodologies, particularly in community and field-based research is available through the NFRF Special Call: 2021 Innovative Approaches to Research in the Pandemic Context.

Full applications are due October 26.

SSHRC Race, Gender and Diversity Initiative

SSHRC has launched the new Race, Gender and Diversity Initiative as a result of the Federal Budget 2021 announcement. The full information and online application are available on the SSHRC website, and the application deadline is November 15, 2021.
