UBC Biodiversity Solutions Cluster Hire – Five tenure-track positions

LFS is part of the university’s biodiversity-themed cluster hire of five tenure-track positions. A new posting has gone public for the position of Assistant Professor in Human Dimensions of Biodiversity Conservation – this will be a joint hire between the LFS Food and Resource Economics Program and Science’s Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability.

Review of applications will begin November 21, 2020 and continue until the position is filled.

The UBC Biodiversity Solutions Cluster Hire is an effort to broaden collaborative opportunities across the university for globally important, policy-relevant biodiversity and conservation research and partnerships. Lunch and Learn Office Hours: Final Exams with Gabriel Smith

This workshop will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at noon.

Do YOU know what you are doing for your final exams this term?

In this week’s Lunch and Learn we will be talking about final exams. What worked well for instructors in the online format? What didn’t work so well and could be improved for this term? Whether you are teaching this term, next term or in the future, we want to hear about your experiences and plans for final exams.

If you have questions about delivering final exams online, this is a great forum to ask those questions and hear from those instructors who have already experienced it.
