Random Acts of Recognition

Congratulations to Random Acts of Recognition recipients:

Thank you to the volunteers who helped make the LFS Welcome Back event a success last week at UBC Farm. This was an opportunity to bring our community together again after a very long stretch of remote working and learning. It was a pleasure to see faculty, staff, graduate students and LFS|US executives back on campus and enjoying some food & drink in the sunshine on a Friday afternoon. The following people put in an outstanding effort by planning, organizing, and staging the event:  Barbara Hsiao, Jaylin Melnichuk, Andy Jeffries, Lewis Fausak, Duncan McHugh, Jane Miller, Niki Glenning, Iris Li, Elia Castellanos, Twinkle Gupta, Shannon Wong, Pia Lim, Karen Lee.

To nominate a faculty member, staff or graduate student that’s been doing an outstanding job or has gone above and beyond in some way, send an email to lfs.recognition@ubc.ca and tell us why this person should be recognized. We’ll send them a $6 Starbucks gift card and acknowledge their good work in LFS Today.
