UBC strives to provide a safe workplace for all employees, students, and visitors.
Our Faculty has a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC), which is an advisory group consisting of employer and worker representatives working together to improve occupational health and safety in our workplace.
There are also four Local Safety Teams (LSTs) in our Faculty. They play a key role for health and safety in the workplace, and provide information, recommendations and support to the JOHSC.
