Random Acts of Recognition
Congratulations to Random Acts of Recognition recipients:
Les Lavkulich, Zhoaming Xu, David Kitts, Nick Grant and Baohua Wang for their work on the NSERC summer research fellowships. The group reviewed, discussed and ranked 14 applications – all input was thorough and wonderfully helpful in the decision-making process.
To nominate a faculty member, staff or graduate student that’s been doing an outstanding job or has gone above and beyond in some way, send an email to lfs.recognition@ubc.ca and tell us why this person should be recognized. We’ll send them a $6 Starbucks gift card and acknowledge their good work in LFS Today.

UBC Faculty & Staff Advance Purchase Opportunity
One of the policies of the UBC Housing Action Plan provides preferential, early access for faculty and staff to purchase new market units before they are released for sale to the general public. This is a non-financial benefit. The following letter is a notice to faculty and staff of a potential opportunity for advance purchase of units in a new building in Wesbrook Village: view the letter here.
